§ 2.101. GENERAL AGE REQUIREMENT. Except as otherwise provided by this subchapter or on a showing that a prior marriage has been dissolved, a county clerk may not issue a marriage license if either applicant is under 18 years of age. Added by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 7, § 1, eff. April 17, 1997.
