§ 2.301. FRAUD, MISTAKE, OR ILLEGALITY IN OBTAINING LICENSE. Except as otherwise provided by this chapter, the validity of a marriage is not affected by any fraud, mistake, or illegality that occurred in obtaining the marriage license. Added by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 7, § 1, eff. April 17, 1997.
