§ 1.003. REFERENCE IN LAW TO STATUTE REVISED BY CODE. A reference in a law to a statute or a part of a statute revised by this code is considered to be a reference to the part of this code that revises that statute or part of that statute. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
