§ 15.308. COMPENSATION OF EMPLOYEES.  (a) The commission 
shall set the compensation of the commissioner and deputy 
commissioner. The compensation shall be paid according to the 
General Appropriations Act.
	(b)  Except for the commissioner and deputy commissioner, 
Chapter 654, Government Code, applies to any department position.
