§ 411.064. ASSISTANCE OF TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION OR GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION. (a) On request of
the department, the Texas Department of Transportation and the
General Services Commission shall:
(1) assist the department in the marking and
designation of parking lots, parking garages, and parking spaces;
(2) maintain the painting of lines and curb markings;
and
(3) furnish and erect direction and information signs.
(b) The department may recover the cost of providing the
services described in Subsection (a) from the agency or agencies
for which the service was provided. To the extent that either the
General Services Commission or the Texas Department of
Transportation provides or assists in providing the services
described in Subsection (a), that agency shall be reimbursed by the
department from its funds or the funds received from another agency
under this subsection.
