§ 12.094. RULES RELATING TO MEDICAL ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS. (a) The board: (1) may adopt rules to govern the activities of the medical advisory board; (2) by rule may establish a reasonable fee to pay a member of the medical advisory board for the member's professional consultation services; and (3) if appropriate, may authorize per diem and travel allowances for each meeting a member attends, not to exceed the amounts authorized for state employees by the General Appropriations Act. (b) The fee under Subsection (a)(2) may not be less than $75 or more than $150 for each meeting that the member attends. Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, § 9, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
