§ 311.023. NO LIABILITY FOR FAILURE TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES AFTER GOOD FAITH EFFORT. An employee of a general hospital that does not have physician services available at the time of an emergency is not in violation of Section 311.022 if, after a reasonable good faith effort, a physician fails to provide or delegate the provision of medical services as required by state statutes. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
