§ 311.035. USE OF DATA. (a) The department shall use the
data collected under this subchapter to publish an annual report
regarding:
(1) the amount of charity care, bad debt, and other
uncompensated care hospitals provide;
(2) the use of hospital services by indigent patients;
and
(3) the effect of indigent care services on hospitals.
(b) Repealed by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 726, § 5(1),
eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
(c) The department shall enter into an interagency
agreement with the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental
Retardation, Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, and Texas
Department of Insurance relating to the mental health and chemical
dependency data collected under Section 311.0335. The agreement
shall address the collection, analysis, and sharing of the data by
the agencies.
