§ 311.041. POLICY STATEMENT. It is the purpose of this subchapter to clarify and set forth the duties, responsibilities, and benefits that apply to hospitals for providing community benefits that include charity care. Added by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 360, § 4, eff. Sept. 1, 1993. Amended by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 204, § 22.01, eff. Sept. 1, 2003.
