§ 21.0052. MERIT PAY. The commissioner shall develop a system under which the job performance of department employees is evaluated annually. All merit pay for department employees must be based on the system established under this section. Added by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 1052, § 1.04, eff. Sept. 1, 1987.
