§ 32.001. PURPOSE OF CHAPTER. The purpose of this chapter is to enable the state to provide medical assistance on behalf of needy individuals and to enable the state to obtain all benefits for those persons authorized under the Social Security Act or any other federal act. Acts 1979, 66th Leg., p. 2348, ch. 842, art. 1, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1979.
