Art. 29.02. DEFINITIONS.
Text of article effective until September 1, 2007
In this chapter:
(1) "Health benefit plan" means a plan described by Article
29.03 of this code.
(2) "Person" means an individual, association, corporation,
or any other legal entity.
(3) "Physicians' representative" means a third party,
including a member of the physicians who will engage in joint
negotiations, who is authorized by physicians to negotiate on their
behalf with health benefit plans over contractual terms and
conditions affecting those physicians.
