Art. 3.41a. STUDENT LOANS.
Article repealed effective April 1, 2007
A foreign or domestic life insurance company may make loans
to a student enrolled in an institution of higher education
provided that the principal amount of the loans is insured by the
federal government pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Higher
Education Act of 1965, as amended (P.L. 89-329, as amended), or by
the Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation, Section 57.01 et
seq., Texas Education Code, as added.
