Art. 5.12-1. PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF ACT. Article repealed effective April 1, 2007 Any insurer or officer or representative thereof which shall violate any provision of this Act shall be subject to a revocation of his or its license by the Board of Insurance Commissioners and in addition shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars for each such offense. Acts 1927, 40th Leg., p. 373, ch. 253, Sec. 12. Amended by Acts 1937, 45th Leg., p. 671, ch. 335, Sec. 3.
