§ 401.106. RIGHT OF ACTION ON BOND. If an examiner or assistant examiner knowingly makes a false report or gives any information in violation of law that relates to an examination of a corporation, firm, or person, the corporation, firm, or person has a right of action on a bond authorized under Chapter 653, Government Code, for the entity's injuries in a suit brought in the name of the state at the relation of the entity. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., ch. 727, § 1, eff. April 1, 2007.
