§ 424.051. GENERAL INVESTMENT AUTHORITY SPECIFIED BY LAW. An insurer may not invest the insurer's funds in excess of minimum capital and surplus, except that an insurer may invest as otherwise authorized by this code. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., ch. 727, § 1, eff. April 1, 2007.
