§ 442.151. SUBPOENA AUTHORITY. The receiver may request the court to issue ex parte a subpoena to compel the attendance and testimony of a witness before the receiver and the production of any book, account, paper, correspondence, or other record relating to a matter that pertains to the receivership estate. For that purpose: (1) the court has statewide subpoena power and may compel attendance of witnesses and production of records before the receiver at the receiver's offices in Austin; and (2) the receiver or the receiver's designated representative may administer oaths, examine witnesses, and receive evidence. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., ch. 727, § 1, eff. April 1, 2007.
