§ 491.002. REINSURANCE PERMITTED. An insurer or reinsurer authorized to engage in the business of insurance or reinsurance in this state may reinsure all or part of a single risk in another solvent insurer. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., ch. 727, § 1, eff. April 1, 2007.
