§ 492.053. LIMITATION ON REINSURANCE OF RISKS OF INSURER WITH LESS THAN MINIMUM CAPITAL AND SURPLUS. An insurer operating under Section 841.204 may not reinsure any risk or part of a risk in an insurer that is not authorized to engage in the business of insurance in this state. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., ch. 727, § 1, eff. April 1, 2007.
