§ 21.116. RELIANCE ON COMMISSION INTERPRETATION OR OPINION. (a) A person is not liable for an unlawful employment practice performed in good faith and in conformity with and in reliance on a written interpretation or opinion of the commission. (b) In a proceeding alleging an unlawful employment practice, the respondent has the burden of pleading and proving the defense provided by this section. Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 269, § 1, eff.
