§ 301.069. PARTNERSHIP WITH BUSINESS COMMUNITY. To meet
the needs of businesses in this state and to equip workers and job
seekers with the skills required to compete for jobs in this state,
the commission shall:
(1) partner with the business community to:
(A) identify:
(i) skills required by the business
community;
(ii) key industry sectors in the business
community that are likely to benefit from skill development
services and programs offered by the commission; and
(iii) employment opportunities offered by
the business community; and
(B) develop services and programs that are
designed to equip workers and job seekers with the skills required
by the business community; and
(2) support business and community economic
development activities of local workforce development boards and
the state.
