§ 302.046. PLAN REGARDING LACK OF SERVICE PROVIDERS. (a) The commission shall adopt a plan to address the lack of service providers in specific local workforce development areas. (b) The plan adopted under this section must include provisions: (1) for offering incentives to attract exceptional service providers and to encourage those providers to cooperate and assist in improving the practices of other providers; (2) relating to the imposition of sanctions by a board against a service provider; and (3) requiring, under certain circumstances, the commission to assist in providing services until a provider is designated. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 650, § 2, eff. Sept. 1, 2001.
