§ 43.031. AUTHORITY OF ADJACENT MUNICIPALITIES TO CHANGE BOUNDARIES BY AGREEMENT. Adjacent municipalities may make mutually agreeable changes in their boundaries of areas that are less than 1,000 feet in width. Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1987. Amended by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 1, § 3(c), eff. Aug. 28, 1989.
