§ 104.007. PENALTIES. (a) A person who violates this chapter commits an offense. An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by: (1) on conviction of a first offense, a fine of $100; (2) on conviction of a second offense, a fine of $500; and (3) on conviction of a third offense: (A) a fine of $1,000; or (B) revocation of the person's license to practice the healing art. (b) On conviction of the person, the district court shall notify the licensing board that issued the license. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
