§ 107.103. DUTY TO MONITOR PATIENT. A physician who treats a patient under this subchapter shall monitor the patient to ensure that a prescribed dangerous drug or controlled substance is used only for the treatment of the patient's painful medical condition. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1276, § 14.002(a), eff. Sept. 1, 2003.
