§ 1601.606. PEER REVIEW. (a) If the department has
reasonable cause to believe that a barber school has violated this
chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter, the department may:
(1) order a peer review of the school; or
(2) suspend the admission of students to the school.
(b) The peer review shall be conducted by a peer review team
consisting of knowledgeable persons selected by the department.
The department shall attempt to provide a balance on a peer review
team between members assigned to the team who are from this state
and members who are from other states.
(c) The peer review team shall provide the department with
an objective assessment of the school's curriculum content and its
application.
(d) A barber school under peer review shall pay the costs of
the peer review.
