§ 164.010. MONITORING OF LICENSE HOLDER. (a) The board by rule shall develop a system to monitor compliance with the requirements of this subtitle of license holders who are the subject of disciplinary action. (b) Rules adopted under this section must include procedures to: (1) monitor for compliance a license holder ordered by the board to perform certain acts; and (2) identify and monitor license holders who are the subject of disciplinary action and who present a continuing threat to the public welfare through the practice of medicine. (c) The board shall immediately investigate: (1) a violation of a disciplinary order by a license holder described by Subsection (a); or (2) a complaint filed against a license holder described by Subsection (a).
