§ 164. INVENTORY, APPRAISEMENT, AND LIST OF CLAIMS. The
surviving spouse, with the assistance of the appraisers, if any be
appointed, shall make out a full, fair, and complete inventory,
appraisement, and list of claims of the community estate as in other
administrations, shall attach thereto a list of all indebtedness
owing by said community estate to other parties, giving the amount
of each debt and the name of the party or parties to whom it is
owing, and his or their postoffice address, and shall return same to
the court within ninety (90) days after the date of the order
appointing appraisers, if any be appointed, unless a longer time
shall be granted by the court. If no appraisers be appointed, such
return shall be made within ninety (90) days after the date of the
application for community administration, unless a longer time
shall be granted by the court. In either event, the court may, for
good cause shown, require the filing of the inventory and
appraisement within a shorter period of time. Such inventory, list
of claims, and list of indebtedness of such community estate shall
be sworn to by said surviving spouse, and said inventory,
appraisement, and list of claims owing said community estate shall
be sworn to by said appraisers, if any appraisers have been
appointed.
