§ 25. EXECUTIONS. Executions in probate matters shall be directed "to any sheriff or any constable within the State of Texas," made returnable in sixty days, and shall be attested and signed by the clerk officially under the seal of the court. All proceedings under such executions shall be governed by the laws regulating proceedings under executions issued from the District Court so far as applicable. Provided, however, that no execution directed to the sheriff or any constable of a specific county within this State shall be held defective if such execution was properly executed within such county by such officer.
