§ 752. COURT ACTION; CLOSING OF GUARDIANSHIP OF WARD'S
ESTATE. (a) On being satisfied that citation has been duly served
on all persons interested in the estate, the court shall examine the
account for final settlement and the vouchers accompanying the
account. After hearing all exceptions or objections to the account
and evidence in support of or against the account, the court shall
audit and settle the same, and restate it if that is necessary.
(b) On final settlement of an estate, if there is any part of
the estate remaining in the hands of the guardian, the court shall
order that it be delivered, in case of a ward, to the ward, or in the
case of a deceased ward, to the personal representative of the
deceased ward's estate if one has been appointed, or to any other
person legally entitled to the estate.
(c) If on final settlement of an estate there is no part of
the estate remaining in the hands of the guardian, the court shall
discharge the guardian from the guardian's trust and order the
estate closed.
(d) When the guardian of an estate has fully administered
the estate in accordance with this chapter and the orders of the
court and the guardian's final account has been approved, and the
guardian has delivered all of the estate remaining in the
guardian's hands to any person entitled to receive the estate, the
court shall enter an order discharging the guardian from the
guardian's trust, and declaring the estate closed.
