§ 754. INHERITANCE TAXES MUST BE PAID. If the guardian has been ordered to make payment of inheritance taxes under this code, an estate of a deceased ward may not be closed unless the final account shows and the court finds that all inheritance taxes due and owing to this state with respect to all interests and properties passing through the hands of the guardian have been paid. Added by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 957, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1993.
