§ 438.001. GROUNDS FOR VACATING AWARD. In addition to grounds for vacating an arbitration award under Section 171.088, Civil Practice and Remedies Code, on application of a party, a court shall vacate an award in a residential construction arbitration upon a showing of manifest disregard for Texas law. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 458, § 1.01, eff. Sept. 1, 2003.
