§ 1001.104. HOSPITAL SYSTEM. (a) The district may own and operate a hospital or hospital system for indigent and needy persons. (b) The district may provide for the establishment of a hospital or hospital system to provide medical aid and hospital care to indigent and needy persons residing in the district.
