§ 228.112. FEASIBILITY STUDY BY MUNICIPALITY, COUNTY, OR
PRIVATE GROUP. (a) One or more municipalities, one or more
counties, a combination of municipalities and counties, or a
private group or combination of individuals in this state may pay
all or part of the expenses of studying the cost and feasibility and
any other expenses relating to:
(1) the preparation and issuance of toll revenue bonds
for the construction of a proposed toll project or system;
(2) the improvement, extension, or expansion of an
existing project or system; or
(3) the use of private participation under Subchapter
E, Chapter 223.
(b) Money spent under Subsection (a) for a proposed toll
project or system is reimbursable, with the consent of the
commission, to the person paying the expenses out of the proceeds
from toll revenue bonds issued for or other proceeds that may be
used for the financing, design, development, construction,
improvement, extension, expansion, or operation of the project.
