§ 61.011. CERTAIN UNITED STATES LICENSE REQUIRED;  
OFFENSE.  (a) A person may not act as a state-commissioned pilot of 
a vessel in any water in this state unless the person is licensed 
under Title 46, United States Code.
	(b)  A person commits an offense if the person violates this 
section.  An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor.
