§ 17.101. POLICY. It is the policy of this state that all customers be protected from the unauthorized switching of a telecommunications service provider, a retail electric provider, or an electric utility selected by the customer to provide service, where choice is permitted by law. Added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1579, § 3, eff. Aug. 30, 1999.
