§ 55.010. BILLING FOR SERVICE TO THE STATE. A telecommunications utility providing service to the state, including service to an agency in any branch of state government, may not impose a fee, a penalty, interest, or any other charge for delinquent payment of a bill for that service. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
