§ 55.022. MANDATORY SERVICE. The commission may order mandatory extended area service in a specified metropolitan area if: (1) there is a sufficient community of interest in the area; and (2) the company can reasonably provide the service. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
