Art. 2619b. CHANGE OF NAME. Section 1. Repealed by Acts 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 3321, ch. 1024, art. 1, Sec. 3, eff. Sept. 1, 1971. Sec. 2. Wherever the name Pan American College or any reference thereto appears in the Constitution or Statutes of this State, such name and such reference shall hereafter mean and apply to Pan American University in order to conform to the new name of the university as provided in Section 1 hereof. All appropriations and benefits to Pan American College shall be available to and apply to Pan American University, and all contracts, bonds, or other debentures effected under its old name shall be likewise applicable to such university under its new name.
