Art. 2687b. MEETINGS IN COUNTIES OF 130,000 TO 133,000
POPULATION. In all counties in Texas having a population of not
less than one hundred and thirty thousand (130,000) and not more
than one hundred and thirty-three thousand (133,000), according to
the last preceding Federal Census, the County School Trustees shall
hold meetings once each month on the first Monday of each month, or
as soon thereafter as practicable, or at such other times when
called by the President of the Board of County School Trustees or at
the instance of any three (3) members of said Board and the County
Superintendent; the meeting place to be at the County Courthouse
and in the office of the County Superintendent, or at such other
place in the County Courthouse as may be designed by the President
of said Board of County School Trustees. Each County School Trustee
shall be paid Six Dollars ($6) per day for the time spent in
attending said meetings, not exceeding twenty-four (24) days in any
one year. Such compensation shall be paid out of the school
administration fund of said county by warrants drawn against such
fund as the law now provides, after the approval of this Act.
