Art. 6261. [6407] [4351] [4100] STOCK, SUBSCRIPTION AND 
PAYMENT.  No railroad corporation shall be formed until stock to 
the amount of one thousand dollars for every mile of the road 
intended to be built shall be in good faith subscribed, and five per 
cent of the amount subscribed paid to the directors of such proposed 
company.
