Art. 6538. [6737] RIGHTS OVER OTHER ELECTRIC RAILWAY TRACKS, ETC. The right of condemnation herein given to interurban electric railway companies shall include the power and authority to condemn for their use and benefit, easements and rights of way to operate interurban cars along and upon the track or tracks of any electric street railway company owning, controlling or operating such track or tracks upon any public street or alley in any town or city of this State for the purpose hereinafter mentioned, subject to the consent, authority and control of the governing body of such town or city.
