§ 62.030. ELECTION ORDER. (a) If the commissioners court
or the board finds in favor of the petitioners for the creation of
the district, the commissioners court of the county of jurisdiction
shall order an election to be held inside the proposed district at
the earliest legal time.
(b) The order of the court shall provide for submitting to
the electors residing in the proposed district the question of
whether or not the district will be created and whether or not
proposed bonds will be issued and a tax levied sufficient to pay the
interest and provide a sinking fund sufficient to redeem the bonds
at maturity.
(c) The order shall specify:
(1) the amount of bonds to be issued;
(2) the length of time the bonds will run; and
(3) the rate of interest.
