Depending on the judge, that excuse may or may not get you far.  If you want to be more convincing in your appeal, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wsj.com\/law\/2009\/01\/13\/judge-says-there-shall-be-hygiene-in-the-court\/\">stop bathing<\/a> for a week before you are scheduled to be called.  However, your friends, family members or co-workers might revolt.  Turns out, <a href=\"http:\/\/jurylaw.typepad.com\/deliberations\/2009\/02\/if-we-strike-all-the-facebook-jurors-whos-left.html\">bad mouthing jury duty<\/a> in Facebook can also get you booted off the jury.
