Arizona Revised Statutes § 12-1565 Storage Of Levied Property; Costs

12-1565. Storage of levied property; costs

A. After the officer has completed his levy on the personal property of the judgment debtor, the officer shall secure the property until it is sold. The officer may store the property in a facility operated by the county for this purpose or in a private facility selected by the judgment creditor or the officer or both.

B. The judgment creditor is responsible for paying all costs incurred in transporting and storing the levied property. If the judgment creditor refuses or fails to pay any costs associated with the levy of the property, the officer is not liable for failing to execute the process.
