                                  DECISION ON APPEAL                                  
               This is a decision on the appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 134                 
          from the final rejection of claims 40-50.  We reverse.                      


                                     BACKGROUND                                       
               Each year, countless telephone books are printed and                   
          distributed to households and businesses around the world.
