This appeal is from the final rejection of claims 1-12, 14-
25 and 33-38.
The invention pertains to a battery system. Claim 1 is
illustrative and reads as follows:
1. A battery system operable to provide energy to a load,
the battery system comprising:
a main battery cell having a first charge-storage
capacity and storing a charge;
