DECISION ON APPEAL
A patent examiner rejected claims 1-9. The appellant appeals therefrom under
35 U.S.C. § 134(a). We affirm-in-part.
BACKGROUND
The invention at issue on appeal relates to print drivers. When a printer is
connected to a computer, the computer includes device-specific software called a "print
driver." The print driver converts data constituting a document file into a printer control
language suitable for the printer and transmits the converted print data thereto.
