DECISION ON APPEAL
A patent examiner rejected claims 1-24. The appellant appeals therefrom under
35 U.S.C. § 134(a). We affirm-in-part.
BACKGROUND
The invention at issue on appeal monitors current leaking between a high
voltage source and ground. In power switching stations, the quality of high voltage
insulators is paramount. According to the appellant, monitoring leakage current during
operation can provide information on the quality of such insulators. (Spec. at 1.)
