                                  DECISION ON APPEAL                                  
               This is an appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 134 from the final                 
          rejection of claims 1, 4, 8, 9, and 12-16.  Claims 2, 3, 10, and            
          11 have been canceled, while claims 5-7 have been withdrawn from            
          consideration.  Thus, only claims 1, 4, 8, 9, and 12-16 are before          
          us on this appeal.
